Dr. Pilar Rodríguez Urcelay is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She is an expert in the new Brava system for breast reconstruction and augmentation, in cosmetic surgery, pediatric plastic surgery, intimate surgery and in congenital malformations surgery.

She has a PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is a Specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Her training has been complemented by various specialized courses in different institutions from countries such as the United States, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom and France. Among them, a Master’s Degree in Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive and Breast Aesthetics by the Reconstructive Microsurgery European School (RMES) stands out.

In more than 20 years’ experience, she has collaborated and collaborates with different hospitals and clinics, such as the Hospital de la Zarzuela, the Hospital of Getafe University, the Hospital of the Niño Jesus of Madrid, the Jiménez Díaz Foundation and the Gregorio Marañón Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Urcelay also collaborates with the Alcorcón Foundation, in its Gynecology and Breast Care Unit; and with the Adelias Foundation, in its Green Hall project, which facilitates the diagnosis and surgical intervention of patients from the maternal-infant area of ​​Hassani Hospital, located in the Moroccan city of Nador.

She has written several international publications on different techniques and treatments in plastic surgery, has organized courses and congresses on her specialty, has been part of research projects on a national and international level, such as “Genetic Mapping Studies of Orofacial Clefts”, and has been teaching courses and programs in various faculties and hospitals.

She is a member of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE) and the Spanish Society of Facial Fissures (SOCEFF).
